Day:-1 - Guwahati – Shillong (90 km, 3 hrs)

Arrive at Guwahati International Airport, where our representative will meet you. Proceed towards Meghalaya, with a scenic stopover at Umiam Lake to admire its natural beauty. Continue the journey to Shillong and check in to your accommodation for rest and an overnight stay.

Day:-2 - Shillong – Mawlynnong – Dawki – Shillong

After an early breakfast, drive to Mawlynnong, acclaimed as the cleanest village in the world. Explore the charming village, walk on the Sky Walk, and witness the Living Root Bridge. After lunch, proceed to Dawki. The drive to Dawki (45 km) passes through breathtaking gorges and ravines, making it a thrilling experience. Visit the stunning Umngot River, which serves as the natural boundary between Ri Pnar (Jaintia Hills) and Hima Khyrim (Khasi Hills). A suspension bridge spans the river, enhancing the area's beauty. Return to Shillong/Cherrapunjee for an overnight stay.

Day:-3 - Shillong – Cherrapunjee (54 km, 2.5 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee, known as the wettest place on Earth.
On arrival, visit:

Nohkalikai Falls
Seven Sisters Falls
Mawsmai Caves
Ramakrishna Mission
Eco Park
Thangkharang Park
Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cherrapunjee/Shillong.

Day:-4 - Shillong – Krangsuri Waterfall & Jowai Tour

Post breakfast, proceed to Jowai.
Visit:

Nartiang Durga Temple
Krangsuri Falls
Nartiang Monoliths
Return to your hotel in Shillong for an overnight stay.

Day:-5 - Shillong Sightseeing

After breakfast, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Shillong, covering:

Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians
Polo Ground
Don Bosco Museum (which showcases the rich tribal culture and heritage of Meghalaya)
Meghalaya State Museum

Lady Hydari Park
Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day:-6 - Shillong – Mawsynram (61 km, 2 hrs)

After breakfast, depart for Mawsynram, known for its mesmerising natural beauty.
En route, visit:

Shillong Peak (offers panoramic views of Shillong City under the clouds)
Elephant Falls (a three-tiered waterfall flowing through lush greenery into a gorge)
Sacred Forest, Mawphlang (showcasing the cultural heritage of Meghalaya)
On arrival at Mawsynram, visit the natural Shivling situated under a cave, surrounded by a serene atmosphere that resembles a divine temple.
Return to Shillong for an overnight stay.

Day:-7 - Shillong – Guwahati Airport

After breakfast, proceed to Guwahati.
Visit:

Mata Kamakhya Devi Temple (seek blessings at this holy site)
Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra (a cultural complex showcasing the life and traditions of Assam)
Spend the evening at leisure, exploring Fancy Bazar for shopping or opting for a sunset river cruise on the mighty Brahmaputra (additional cost applies).
Transfer to Guwahati Airport for your onward journey.
Tour Ends with Beautiful Memories.

Carry valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar cards are not accepted), original vaccination certificates, and passport-size photographs for permits.
Ensure to carry comfortable clothing, rain gear, and warm layers as the weather in Meghalaya can change rapidly.
Guests are advised to be prepared for minor trekking and walking during the tour.

Booking & Payment Conditions

Tour prices are printed in our brochures. The client must book a tour with 40% of an initial deposit out of the total tour cost per person or tour package. This initial deposit amount is not refundable or nontransferable in the event of cancellation.
The client must pay the balance amount 30 days before the date of departure of the tour. If the client fails to pay the balance amount within the stipulated time, then the booking shall be deemed to be cancelled and the entire initial deposit will be forfeited and the passenger shall not be entitled to a refund of the same.
Payments can be made online using our secured net Banking/RTGS/NEFT/CHEQUE/Demand Draft to be payable in the name of “BANDHAN TOURISM”. On payment of the deposit amount, you will be given an official receipt from Bandhan.

Tickets, Hotel, Vouchers, Transport Vouchers and Tour Documents will be issued 6 days before the date of departure.

If the client is willing to amend or cancel his/her booking because of reasons such as personal commitments, being unable to pay the balance payment, illness, accident or death, the company is liable to recover cancellation charges from the client.
