Welcome to the Janmabhoomi of Lord Shri Ram! Upon arrival, proceed for a city tour of Ayodhya: Shri Ram Janmbhoomi, Hanuman Garhi, Kanak Bhawan, Ramkot, Swarg Dwar, and Nageshwarnath Temple. Situated on the banks of the Gogra River, Ayodhya holds immense religious significance as the birthplace of Lord Rama. Bathing in the river is believed to absolve one of their sins. Formerly known as Kosaladesa, Ayodhya also bears traces of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Islam. According to Jain tradition, Ayodhya is the birthplace of five Tirthankaras, including Adinath, the first Tirthankar. Check in to the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Prayagraj. Formerly known as Allahabad, Prayagraj is revered for its cultural and historical significance. It lies at the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and mythical Sarasvati rivers and hosts the sacred Kumbh Mela. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and freshen up. Later, visit Triveni Sangam, Hanuman Temple, Alopi Devi Shakti Peeth Temple, Allahabad Fort, Swaraj Bhawan, and Anand Bhavan. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, proceed to Varanasi. Upon arrival, begin your city tour covering Kaal Bhairav Temple, the sacred Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Shri Annapurna Temple, Shri Vishalakshi Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, Manas Mandir, and Banaras Hindu University (BHU). Amble through the narrow lanes of the world’s oldest living city and explore its vibrant traditions. In the evening, witness the mesmerising Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. A group of young priests in saffron and white robes perform this grand ceremony, offering prayers with synchronised movements of oil lamps and chanting mantras. Thousands of floating oil lamps create a spectacle resembling countless stars on the river. After the ceremony, check in to the hotel. Overnight stay in Varanasi.
After breakfast, depart for Bodhgaya. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Visit the Lord Buddha Temple, Mahabodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree, and the Buddha Statue. Bodhgaya is one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Buddhists, where Gautam Buddha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Bodhgaya.
After breakfast, perform rituals in Gaya, a site considered sacred across Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist traditions. According to the Ramayana, Lord Rama, along with Sita and Lakshmana, performed Pind Daan here for their father, King Dasharatha. Later, visit Mahabodhi Temple, Tibetan Temple, the 80-foot Buddha Statue, and other Buddhist sites. After sightseeing, drive back to Varanasi. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and freshen up. Dinner and overnight stay in Varanasi.
Early in the morning, enjoy a boat ride on the Ganges. Witness devotees offering water to the Sun God and taking holy dips at the various ghats. Return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, proceed to Sarnath, located 20 km from Varanasi. This is where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon to his five disciples, marking the beginning of Buddhism. Visit the ancient stupas, monuments built by Emperor Ashoka, the Deer Park, monasteries, and the Sarnath Museum, home to the famed Lion Capital of Ashoka. After sightseeing, transfer to Varanasi railway station/airport for your departure, carrying pleasant memories of your spiritual journey.
