Arrive at Guwahati Airport, where you’ll receive a warm traditional welcome and assistance from our representative. After check-in and refreshments at the hotel, proceed for sightseeing at the revered Kamakhya Devi Temple. Seek blessings and enjoy the spiritual aura. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

After breakfast, depart for Shillong—popularly known as the ‘Scotland of the East’ and the capital of Meghalaya. En route, visit the magnificent Umiam Lake, the largest man-made lake in Northeast India. On arrival in Shillong, visit the Don Bosco Museum and Ward’s Lake, famous for its scenic garden walks and boating. Check in to the hotel. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Start early and drive to Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia. Enjoy a walk on the Sky Walk and marvel at the natural wonder of the Living Root Bridge. Post lunch, proceed to Dawki, the Indo-Bangladesh border town known for its mesmerising drive through deep gorges and ravines. Witness the crystal-clear Umngot River and the historic suspension bridge that connects Jaintia Hills with Khasi Hills. Return to Shillong in the evening. Overnight stay in Shillong.

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Cherrapunjee, the wettest place on Earth. Along the pine-covered, misty roads, you’ll explore Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Caves, the Ramakrishna Mission, and Eco Park. Later, return to Shillong. Overnight stay in Shillong.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Tezpur. En route, stop for darshan at the Mahamrityunjay Temple. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. In the evening, explore the local market. Overnight stay in Tezpur.

After breakfast, proceed towards Dirang. On the way, visit the Tipi Orchidarium—a stunning glasshouse home to over 7,500 orchids. Check in at your hotel in Dirang. Overnight stay in Dirang.

In the morning, visit the Kiwi and Apple orchards. Take in panoramic views of the Dirang Valley and its vibrant tribal culture. En route to Tawang, cross the breathtaking Sela Pass (13,703 ft) and pause at the beautiful Paradise Lake. Continue the journey and reach Tawang. Check in to your hotel. Overnight stay in Tawang.

Today, enjoy full-day sightseeing in and around Tawang. Visit the serene Madhuri Lake, the China Border (subject to permission), and the iconic Tawang Monastery—one of the largest in Asia. Also, visit the Tawang War Memorial, built in honour of the martyrs of the Indo-China war. Spend the evening at leisure or exploring the local market. Overnight stay in Tawang.

After breakfast, visit the historic Tawang Monastery, established in the 17th century by Mera Lama Lodre Gyaltso. Later, drive to Jang for a view of the magnificent waterfalls and pay homage at Jaswant Garh Indo-China War Memorial. Continue the downhill journey to Bomdila. Evening at leisure or visit the local market. Overnight stay in Bomdila.

Check out after breakfast and depart for Guwahati. On arrival, check in to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing sunset river cruise on the majestic Brahmaputra River. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

After breakfast, visit Sri Shankardeva Kalakshetra—a cultural centre showcasing the lifestyle and traditions of Assam. If time permits, enjoy some last-minute shopping in Guwahati’s local markets. Later, transfer to Guwahati Airport with unforgettable memories of Northeast India.

Booking & Payment Conditions

  1. Tour prices are printed in our brochures. The client must book a tour with 40% of an initial deposit out of the total tour cost per person or tour package. This initial deposit amount is not refundable or nontransferable in the event of cancellation.
  2. The client must pay the balance amount 30 days before the date of departure of the tour. If the client fails to pay the balance amount within the stipulated time, then the booking shall be deemed to be cancelled and the entire initial deposit will be forfeited and the passenger shall not be entitled to a refund of the same.
  3. Payments can be made online using our secured net Banking/RTGS/NEFT/CHEQUE/Demand Draft to be payable in the name of “BANDHAN TOURISM”. On payment of the deposit amount, you will be given an official receipt from Bandhan.
Tickets, Hotel, Vouchers, Transport Vouchers and Tour Documents will be issued 6 days before the date of departure.
 
If the client is willing to amend or cancel his/her booking because of reasons such as personal commitments, being unable to pay the balance payment, illness, accident or death, the company is liable to recover cancellation charges from the client.

Cancellation charges per person

  1. Primary cancellation
  2. 15% of the initial deposit amount
  3. On or before 30 days prior to the departure of the tour
  4. The initial deposit amount or 25%, whichever is higher
  5. 29-15 days prior to the departure of the tour
  6. 50% of the total tour cost
  7. 14 days or less prior to the date of departure of the tour
  8. 75% of the total tour cost
  9. 10 days or less prior to the date of departure of the tour or a “No Show” on the tour
  10. 100% of the total tour cost
